5. Gratitude Week
Sick of misery poker? Wish you and your fellow swatties could spend more time talking the things you love about your lives and less time talking about stress, grades, and overbooked schedules? We do too! Speak 2 Swatties has noticed that one of the big obstacles at Swat preventing a healthy mind set is a culture of misery, obsessed with stress and negativity. So why don’t we change it?
Speak 2 Swatties and Health and Wellness Committee are sponsoring a week to celebrate the things we are grateful for in our lives. The celebration starts on Sunday (4/26) at 10pm. Come meet us up in front of Parrish at this time to chalk the campus about the things we are grateful!
On Monday night (4/27) at 8pm in Shane Lounge we will be hosting a party to continue the celebration. We will be creating a display of the things we love about our lives and being at Swat. At this time you’ll also have the opportunity to write notes to people on campus you want to show your appreciation for, which S2S will deliver the next day.
Wednesday night, Health and Wellness Committee will be continuing gratitude week by sponsoring a meditation night at 8pm in Bond Hall.
Please come join us for a few days of celebrating our lives at time when many students are inclined to bemoan them!
