3. Hebrew School Dropouts - Discussion on Jewish Environmentalism
Mondays in Kohlberg 230
8:00–8:55pm
Q. How is this class different from all other Hebrew School classes?
A. In regular HS classes—the boring teacher sets the topic of discussion (if any), where as HSD – Swarthmore students decide what’s going to be discussed…
Join us for a thoughtful discussion on any Jewish topic, for the next six Mondays. We will be joined by Rabbi Eli in an open forum style. All questions fair game.
This week’s topic: Jewish Environmentalism
Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

7. Organize for Health Care!
In 2007, 46 million US americans spent the year without health care. And
during that time, 18–24 year olds remained the least likely age group to have coverage. If this troubles you, come learn about how you can get involved in a new student organization, still in its beginning stages, dedicated to using non-violent direct action to demand universal single-payer health care. All are welcome!
Meeting Tuesday, February 17th, 8pm Lang Center.

10. CALL FOR EDITORS – SWARTHMORE LITERARY REVIEW
Are you interested in working for the Swarthmore Literary Review this semester? We publish poets both from on campus and from the greater international writing community. We would love for you to help us make selections, host readings, and expand our magazine.
All interested students should write no more than 300 words answering the following question: Why do I want to be an editor? Make sure to include your poetic influences and academic interests. It also helps to send a resume.
Applications are due 11:59 pm. Wednesday, February 25 to literaryreview@swarthmore.edu. Questions are more than welcome.
The Swarthmore Literary Review seeks to create a student directed venue for the work of talented Swarthmore and at-large writers. In doing so, the editors hope to foster an exchange between Swarthmore College and the greater international writing community. Over time, we aspire to expand readership, humbly hoping to foster a love of the arts throughout literary circles on our own campus and abroad.
