Sestak-Williams Debate in LPAC
Wednesday morning in LPAC, Congressman Joe Sestak (Democrat) and challenger Craig Williams (Republican) participated in a town-hall style debate sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Delaware County. Below is a summary of the candidate’s responses to the topics covered in the debate.

Women's Cross Country Team Wins Seven Sisters Championship
On October 18, 2008 the Swarthmore Women's Cross-Country team came in first place at the Seven Sisters Cross Country Championship. Led by junior Nyika Corbett (second overall), freshman Melissa Frick (third overall), and senior co-captain Bess Ritter (seventh overall) the team totaled 35 points to beat the five other colleges and bring home the championship.

Dinner: meat lasagna, breadsticks, asian eggplant (v), veg. lasagna (vgt), veg blend, fresh broccoli, caesar salad bar, halloween treats
