While Earthlust is certainly entitled to its opinions, it is not entitled to spamming the entire campus with its frivolous and peculiar impulses.

Letter – Coke’s Return

Recently you may have noticed Coca-Cola trucks on campus and the reemergence of Coke products in our dining halls and vending machines. With the reassurance that human and labor rights and environmental abuses are fundamentally unacceptable to The Coca-Cola Company, and the knowledge that allegations of abuse have been investigated and dismissed, Swarthmore has resumed its contractual relationship with the company.

Hotel Workers’ Rights Campaign Update following meeting with President Bloom

Swarthmore Labor Action Project (SLAP) would like to update the campus community about the status of the campaign for card check neutrality at the proposed Swarthmore Inn. This week we met with President Bloom and came to a mutual understanding that the College can make a timely decision, regardless of its economic situation or the status of hotel project.
