Dougal Sutherland
Editor-In-Chief
Dougal Sutherland '11 is the Gazette's Editor-in-Chief. Joining in his freshman year as a reporter and a much-needed programmer, he quickly became Technical Director and, along with then Editor-in-Chief Miles Skorpen, worked on the Wordpress iteration of the site. In the summer and fall of 2008, he led development efforts to replace that site with a custom-made CMS based on Django. After a semester abroad in Nepal, which necessarily limited his involvement with the paper, he became Editor-in-Chief for the 2009-10 academic year. When not working on the website, guilting others into writing stories, or writing stories himself when those attempts fail, Dougal is an honors Computer Science major with an honors minor in Linguistics and a course minor in Physics.
