Looking for female volunteers willing to talk about their experiences studying the natural sciences

Expanding Your Horizons is a one-day conference intended to introduce middle school girls to fields in which women are traditionally underrepresented and to provide their parents with information on how best to support their daughters. We are currently seeking students to conduct a Q&A with the parents—this would include discussing your academic background, your high school/college prep experiences, challenges you’ve faced, and the kinds of support you received from parents and teachers.
The conference will take place in the Science Center on Saturday, March 21 from 8am to 3pm. The student Q&A will occur in the afternoon and will probably last about 40 minutes. Email Lbackup1 or Jtrinh1 for more information.
