The Temple. Feb. 28, 1918
The regular meeting of the Book & Key society was called to order by Senior Praeces Boughton, Feb. 28, 1918. The minutes of the preceding meeting were approved as read.
Senior Blau reported he had seen Senior Johnson about moving tap day forward as decided by the Society and that it probably be satisfactory. He would communicate with the society in the near future regarding the matter.
Senior Reilly reported that he had seen Dean Alexander regarding an assistant for Professor [redacted] and he seemed to be in favor of it. Senior Ewell suggested we follow it up. Senior [redacted] said he expected to see the President soon and would bring it up. Senior Donnelly spoke of the obnoxiousness of the present cut system and the injustice of the two dollar fine imposed for taking examinations after date.
Senior Donnelly also spoke that the society should discourage men from leaving college.
