October 23-November 21
Sometimes, Scorpio, you need to take a deep breath and just try to take things slow. Other times you need to run full force as fast as you can towards whatever is scaring you. Hey, that’s what being a Scorpio is all about. Right now you are stuck in the middle and don’t know which way to turn. Resist shutting down and try to take a look around you at all the possibilities. This Wednesday night, aka the best night aka Pasta Bar night, try staying in Sharples for all of the time that dinner is. Yep, I’m talking the full four hours from 4 PM to 8 PM. The loud chatter will be lulling to you and help you find your place.
November 22 – December 21
Everything right now is about new beginnings, Sagittarius. But please be careful because every new opportunity is not equally good for you. You might be going on a trip soon, try to take that time to center and find yourself in all the chaos that is happening. No matter if you are at Swat or on a plane flying to California, remember to stay hydrated. If water is a little too vanilla for you, try infusing it with cucumber, lemon, lime, or even a splash of juice. It’s a simple trick you can even do at Sharples.
December 22 – January 19
You’ve gone through so many changes this semester that you might think you are losing track of who you are. That’s okay. You are still making great strides in all things you set out to accomplish, even if it feels like each step forward is followed by two steps backwards. One way to overcome that is to go on runs around Swat. The leaves are changing, and so are you, so maybe running in, on, or just around them will give you an idea of the direction you want to go in. Daylight savings was last weekend which means the morning are very bright so a 6 AM run might be just what you need.
January 20- February 18
It can be hard for you to take things in at once and it can feel impossible at times to handle everything. When you feel as if your responsibilities are choking you, go on a drive with someone you care about. Yes, there are a limited number of people you care about and a limited number of cars on campus, but if you look hard enough, you can find one. In the future, try to take things on little by little. Even if something looks manageable, cut it up just to be on the safe side. Practice this by cutting all of your food into bite sized pieces. Yes, I do mean all of your food, bananas and cherry tomatoes included.
February 19 – March 20
This week, watch out. A mysterious force is working in your favor but in a very unexpected way. This process requires trust in the unknown, a hard task for someone that likes to be in control of all situations. Don’t try to figure out what is going to happen, just try to say yes a lot and see where it takes you. A great place to practice saying yes is when you are ordering food, so go to every food establishment on campus and order as much food as you can.
March 21- April 19
You have been forced to slow down and reconsider things due to a recent loss. You could have lost a lot of things, but the point is that whatever it was, it’s gone now. That is a hard concept, but one that you can deal with. Use your friends to support you and use other resources as well. Unless you lost a key or your OneCard, you aren’t going to be able to replace it, and that’s okay. You can remember the good times you had and keep those with you while you move along in your future.
April 20- May 20
This week is jam-packed with a lot of important events/tests for you, Taurus, but you’ll get through it all and be a stronger person at the end of it. If at any point you feel like it is too much to handle, don’t hesitate to email a professor for an extension; the worst they can do is say no. This weekend you might then want to go out, but understand that staying in can be just as beneficial to you.
May 21-June 20
Heyyyyyyyyy Gemini. Big changes, huh? Even if you saw this coming, it can still be a lot on a person. We’ve all had some tough times so don’t ever worry about reaching out to your friends for support. You are not a burden on them, and even though they also have busy schedules, they will always make time for you because they love you. The WRC is a great place to hide away and nap if you don’t want to see any faces around. If you go Tuesday night, a monetary sum is in your future.
June 21-July 22
Okay Cancer, what are you doing? Honestly. Having the best time of your life? Being super super stressed? Both? Well one thing is for sure, you need to sleep more. Sleep more – more than 6 hours!!!!! Every single night, get 8 hours of sleep. That’s something you haven’t done since freshman year of high school, but the best time is the present. If you can’t do this, make sure that you nap to get your whole 8 hours. Underhill is a classic napping location, but you can also nap in Cornell basement if you are really brave.
July 23-August 22
If you think you are growing apart from your friends, you are correct. That doesn’t mean you should give up on those friends and scrap all the good times you’ve had with them. Instead, reach out to them. If they don’t respond, don’t hold it against them. If you are too busy to find them in person, tag them in a TBT photo on Facebook or Instagram. It will remind them of the memories you’ve made together and they will be inclined to spend more time with you (just make sure they don’t look bad in the pic).
August 23-September 22
Have you been thinking that someone who is just a friend might be turning into something more? If you haven’t, stop lying to yourself. Go for it! Your friends will support you, they have just been too shy to say something to you about it but have been cheering you on from the sidelines. This person might not be your “type”, but your “type” hasn’t really worked out in the past, so it’s not a bad idea to spread your wings to fly and flit to a different type of flower.
September 23 – October 22
All the hard work you have been putting in this semester is definitely paying off, in a major way. Don’t be deterred if it doesn’t feel like it or if no one compliments you on it. Keep at it and remember that you are doing these things for yourself and no one else. This week you may have stepped out of your comfort zone in the romantic direction. This went a different way then you thought it would. Don’t be deterred, but don’t pursue something if you have a gut feeling that it is not what you want.
