Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Elm Avenue for the report of malicious writing on a Swarthmore employee’s car. Information forwarded to Swarthmore Police Department. Matter under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to Parrish East for a fire alarm activation. Officers arrived and were unable to determine the cause of the alarm.

Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to Mary Lyons for a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was determined that the alarm was activated by soldering.

Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police and Ambulance responded to Clothier Hall for the report of an intoxicated non-Swarthmore student. The individual was transported to the hospital.

Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to a fire alarm within Alice Paul residence hall. Upon arrival, officers observed steam coming from a broken radiator pipe. Approximately 20 students had evacuated the building.

Synopsis: While on patrol, a Public Safety officer observed an ambulance on campus. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the student that had originally requested the ambulance declined medical treatment.

Location: Delta Upsilon Fraternity House
Synopsis: Public Safety received an anonymous phone call regarding a Swarthmore student making threats towards other students at Delta Upsilon fraternity house. Officers responded to investigate. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a Swat team member, who had no knowledge of the incident. This information will remain on file for future reference.

Location: Wharton Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety encountered an individual who was later identified as a Swarthmore student. During the brief interaction, the student became belligerent with the officers. Matter referred to Dean’s office.

Location: Willets Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police, and Swarthmore Ambulance responded to Willets Residence Hall for the report of a sick student. Upon arrival, the student was intoxicated. The student was transported to the hospital and will be cited for underage drinking.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Dana Resident Hall for the report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, officers observed mulch on the floor and on the walls. EVS was notified.

Time: 7:30 pm
Location: Wharton Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Wharton Residence Hall. Upon arrival, no smoke or fire was observed. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to grease from a student cooking.
