Last Sunday, CamCo made major changes in their organizational structure. Effective immediately, all Swarthmore students are now Co-President of CamCo.
Many CamCo Co-Presidents are hopeful that the changes will encourage Swatties to take a more active role in student government in Swarthmore. CamCo Co-President Ella May ’14 was part of the original CamCo that made the decision. “We decided students would have to take interest in an organization they’re president of, right?” said May.
Some new CamCo Co-Presidents were excited about the new organization. “I’m going to make every day specialty salad bar,” said Rhonda Thompson ’17. “Can I do that?”
However, not all CamCo Co-Presidents are enthusiastic about the new changes. “Does this mean I have to go to CamCo meetings now?” asked CamCo Co-President Will Newman ‘16.
Others are simply baffled.
“What’s a CamCo?” asked CamCo Co-President Greg Smith ’14.
At press time, several disgruntled CamCo Co-Presidents were plotting a CamCoverthrow.
