Synopsis: A report of a sexual assault was received via the online Clery reporting system on 11/8/2012 at 1:26 am. The victim is unknown.

Laptop Stolen

Date: Monday, November 5
Time: Between 5:40 pm and 6:20 pm
Location: McCabe Library
Synopsis: A male resident student reported a laptop stolen from a study room within McCabe Library. The value of the item is approximately $1500.
Status: Under Investigation

 

Another Laptop Stolen

Date: Saturday, November 10
Time: Between 3:00 pm and 4:20 pm
Location: McCabe Library
Synopsis: A male student reported the theft of his MacBook from the lower level of McCabe. Public Safety responded to the investigation with negative results. The value of the laptop is approximately $1500.
Status: Under Investigation

 

Missing Friend Found Asleep

Date: Saturday, November 10
Time: Between 5:30 am and 7:30 am
Location: Pittenger Residence Hall
Synopsis: A male resident student reported a female friend missing. He stated that she went to the bathroom and that he currently could not find her. Public Safety responded to Pittenger, conducted a search of the building, and found the female resident asleep in a vacant room.
Status: Case Cleared

 

Soccer Player Down

Date: Saturday, November 10
Time: Between 9:59 pm and 10:19 pm
Location: Clothier Field
Synopsis: A visiting soccer player was injured on Clothier Field. Paramedics and an Ambulance were called. The player was treated for a possible concussion and transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Status: Case Closed

 

Traffic Sign Vandalized

Date: Tuesday, November 6
Time: Between 12:59 pm and 3:05 pm
Location: The intersection of College Avenue and Cedar Lane
Synopsis: A “no parking anytime” sign was vandalized. No additional information is available at this time.
Status: Case Closed

 

LPAC Fire Alarm

Date: Tuesday, November 6
Time: Between 1:24 pm and 1:32 pm
Location: Lang Performing Arts Center, 1st-floor scene shop
Synopsis: A fire alarm was activated within LPAC. The alarm was caused by a dirty duct detector within the scene shop. Public Safety, maintenance, and the electricians responded. The detectors was reparied and the alarm was reset.
Status: Case Closed

 

DK Fire Alarm

Date: Saturday, November 10
Time: Between 8:25 pm and 8:33 pm
Location: David Kemp Residence Hall, second-floor kitchen
Synopsis: A fire alarm was received from within the second-floor kitchen of David Kemp. The cause of the alarm was burnt food. There was smoke present but no sign of a fire. Public Safety responded and reset the alarm.
Status: Case Closed
