Chloe Stevens’s Sleepy Tracks

Chloe Stevens ’13 is a huge nerd who spends most of her waking hours rotating between the computer science lab and the math lounge. She enjoys swimming, chamber music, and “non-stop Tuesdays.” The best live show she’s ever seen is Arcade Fire.

This playlist is my musical equivalent of comfort food: quiet, calming, and slightly self-indulgent in a monotonous, single-genred kind of way. The songs are primarily acoustic and mostly old favorites, with a few recent additions scattered in. I think it’s ideal for late nights in a stress-filled library, or as some pre-bedtime background noise. Enjoy!

1. “I Didn’t See It Coming” – Belle & Sebastian
2. “My Own Sinking Ship” – Good Old War
3. “Phone Call” – High Highs
4. “Be Good Or Be Gone” – Fionn Regan
5. “Virginia May” – Gregory Alan Isakov
6. “Once In A While” – Shakey Graves
7. “Fall At Your Feet” – Boy And Bear
8. “Moving On Backwards” – Without Gravity
9. “Swept Away (acoustic)” – Avett Brothers
10. “Folly” – Folly and the Hunter
11. “New York” – Blind Pilot
12. “June Hymn” – The Decemberists
13. “In Spite Of All The Damage” – Be Good Tanyas
14. “Sodom, South Georgia” – Iron & Wine
15. “Sail to the Moon” – Radiohead
