Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, New York Times columnist and author of Half the Sky: From Oppression to Opportunity for Women Worldwide Nicholas D. Kristof spoke at Swarthmore College on Monday, November 14, 2011 in Lang Performing Arts Center. His speech was entitled “A Call to Action: Encouraging people to join the ‘World’s Fight.’” Prior to the lecture, Kristof met with students at a Lang Center-sponsored poster session, at a small fireside chat in Bond, and in the office of War News Radio.
