Ready for Genderfuck? Here are some tips to keep in mind.
Genderfuck this year will take place in Sharples from 10pm-2am this Saturday April, 9th.
First time to Genderfuck?
Keep in mind that you should be comfortable with your drinking, clothing, and conduct. Don’t feel pressured to drink more or wear less just because it’s Genderfuck.
Things to think about:
You may only enter the party if wearing a wristband. Wristbands will ONLY be dispersed in:
- Sharples, Friday between 5:00pm – 7:00pm
- Sharples, Saturday between 11:00am – 1:00pm
- Sharples, Saturday between 5:00pm-6:30pm
- Tarble, Saturday between 6:30pm-8:00pm
You MUST have an ID in order to pick up a wristband and all guests must be signed in during this time. Guests without wristband or those who are not signed in will NOT be able to enter the party.
When pre-gaming, keep in mind how much and how quickly you are drinking. You have the rest of the night ahead of you.
Stay away from roads and off-campus public locations when walking to and from the party. You can be cited for both alcohol and public indecency.
Everyone must enter from the top of Sharples, the bottom door is an exit only. This will be strongly enforced.
A public safety officer will be on patrol in the vicinity of Sharples throughout the party. Do not be alarmed.
Bring only what you need and keep an eye on it. You may lose it or someone may take it.
If you put your drink down don’t pick it back up. Just grab another one — you never know what could be in it.
Water bottles will be available throughout the night. Keep hydrated because water helps hangovers.
If you are worried about your friend and they can walk, take them to Worth. If someone is vomiting and/ or unresponsive, find a PA or call Public Safety (610-328-8333). It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Non-Swarthmore students (Tri-co included) will not be treated at Worth Health Center and will immediately be sent to the hospital.
If you see suspicious looking people, don’t hesitate to call Public Safety immediately.
Traveling in groups is better than traveling alone.
Have a safe and fun Genderfuck!
