Haiti, Foreign Aid, and RnM Tryouts

The campus community gathered to discuss and memorialize the recent tragedy in Haiti last Friday.
The filmmaker Tim Klein visited campus Friday evening for a screening of his film What Are We Doing Here. The film concerns foreign aid to Africa over the last five decades, and largely argues that it has been alternatively ineffective or, in some cases, harmful.
The screening was followed by a discussion of the movie and the issues it presented.
The Tri-Co dance group Rhythm N Motion held tryouts this weekend.
The group presents one show a semester, with each of its forty or so members participating in a few different dances.
