October 30th, 1929- The Day a Cow Entered Parrish
In the wake of Halloween, I think it’s appropriate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of one of the more wonderful pranks ever pulled at Swarthmore: the Cow Episode. On December 4, 1929, the editor of the Phoenix received a letter from the owner of Crumwald, a nearby farm with some loose connections to the college.

Yes. It's lame. They(the gazette editorial group) nothing else better to do (than wasting theirs and other people's time).

Yes, the big chair is back, just in another reincarnation. This one was designed to last longer- it looks just about the same, but is a bit stronger and made from different materials, I believe.
