VOLLEYBALL: Knights, Garnet Steam Towards Five-Set Thriller
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- Garnet freshman Genny Pezzola tallied 31 digs and 17 kills in just her third collegiate match as Swarthmore dropped a five-set thriller to Neumann 3-2 (16-14) on a steamy Wednesday night in Tarble Pavilion. Senior Jen Wang added 12 kills and 21 digs as Swarthmore dips to 0-3 on the season.
MEN'S SOCCER: Weimar, Garnet Earn National Ranking And Conference Honors
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- The Swarthmore men's soccer team was ranked 24th in the latest NSCAA/adidas poll released on Sept. 2, while junior goalkeeper Zach Weimar was named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
