MEN'S LACROSSE: Musynske Inspires Garnet to ECAC Victory Garnet sophomore attackman Gavin Musynske tallied a career-high five goals to lead Swarthmore to a resounding 14-4 win over visiting Manhattanville in semifinal action of the 2008 E.C.A.C. Metro/South Men's Lacrosse Championship Friday night at a misty Clothier Field. Swarthmore (9-7) advances to Sunday's championship game against Drew University (10-7). The first face-off is slated for 1:00 p.m.

WOMEN'S TENNIS: Wallwork NCAA-Bound Swarthmore sophomore Rachel Wallwork has been selected to compete at the 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Individual Championships. The singles and doubles championships will be hosted in St. Peter, Minnesota on May 16-18 at the Swanson Tennis Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College.

SOFTBALL: Another Golden Day for Swat Softball Swarthmore senior Katherine Gold tied a Centennial Conference record with five hits as the Garnet softball team flexed its offensive muscle in a 10-4 win over Lake Erie at the 2008 E.C.A.C. South Softball Championships Saturday on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College.

TRACK & FIELD: Swat Last Chance Meet in Jeopardy The second annual Last Chance Track & Field Meet at Swarthmore College is in danger of being moved from its scheduled 5:00 p.m. start on Monday afternoon. The weather forecast is calling for a 90 percent chance of rain and over 20 mile per hour wind gusts. A decision will be made on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. if the meet will be moved to its rain date, Tuesday, May 13.

MEN'S LACROSSE: Garnet Seek ECAC Title The Swarthmore men's lacrosse team (9-7) hopes the third time in the charm as they face Drew University in the championship game of the 2008 E.C.A.C. Metro/South Men's Lacrosse Tournament right here at Clothier Field Sunday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m. The Garnet played in the ECAC Championship in 2000 and 2003, coming up empty on both occasions. Swarthmore has already faced the Rangers in 2008, winning 12-6 on April 23.
