Swarthmore Introduces New Sport

Swarthmore decided to add a new sport to its athletics roster at the past weekend's Board of Managers meeting. In order to truly inspire track runners and to utilize the school's abundant wildlife and plentiful natural resources, the Athletics department plans to light the Crum on fire and have killer squirrels hunt varsity athletes across campus.

H1N1 Vaccine Received; Free Clinic Tuesday

The College has obtained the much-awaited H1N1 vaccine; a free clinic will take place Tuesday from 9am to 6pm. Although the first wave of flu has passed, Director of Student Health Services Beth Kotarski warned that there will almost certainly be new outbreaks for the next several months, including after Thanksgiving travel; vaccination should help prevent this.
