MEN'S TENNIS: #24 Generals Charge Past Swarthmore Washington & Lee, ranked 24th in the latest ITA poll, cruised to a 9-0 win over the Garnet men's tennis team Saturday afternoon in the Michael Mullan Tennis Center.

BASEBALL: Blue Jays Sweep Garnet Swarthmore senior Ben Mendelson racked up two hits while freshman Ben Schneiderman added a hit and a run as the Garnet dropped both ends of a doubleheader at #21 Johns Hopkins Saturday afternoon.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE: #20 Red Devils Earn Win Over Garnet Swarthmore faced its third ranked opponent in as many games, falling 17-6 to 20th-ranked Dickinson Saturday afternoon at Clothier Field.

SOFTBALL: Garnet All Riled Up in Central PA Swarthmore sophomore Kathryn Riley went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs while also picking up the win in the pitching circle, leading the Garnet to a 3-2 win over Dickinson in the Centennial opener for both teams Saturday afternoon.

WOMEN'S TENNIS: Garnet Women Win Close Big Matches The Swarthmore women's tennis team fought to two big wins this past weekend, defeating 30th-ranked Skidmore and Centennial opponent Washington (Md.) by identical 5-4 scores in the Michael Mullan Tennis Center.

MEN'S LACROSSE:Young Scores Two, Mules Down Swarthmore Garnet junior midfielder Ben Young tallied two goals and defender Drew Bonessa '08 scored his second career goal while scooping up a team-high five ground balls in a 15-5 loss at the hands of the Muhlenberg Mules Saturday afternoon.

GOLF: Garnet Finds Winds at McDaniel Invite The Swarthmore golf team encountered blustery conditions in central Pennsylvania during the first day of the 2008 McDaniel Invitational Saturday morning.

TRACK & FIELD: Several Garnet Harriers Qualify For Conferences The Swarthmore outdoor track & field team participated in the annual Danny Curran Invitational this past weekend at Widener University.
