MEN'S BASKETBALL: Kurman Named Centennial Player of the Week Swarthmore guard Matt Kurman was named Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Player of the Week for men's basketball on Feb. 25, as announced by the Conference office. Kurman, a senior, averaged 24.5 points per game in two close defeats while shooting 60.7 percent (17-for-28) from the floor and 63.2 (12-for-19) from three-point range. He had a career night at Washington (Mary.) on February 20, scoring 32 points (a career-high) with seven three-pointers. Kurman came back with five more triples against Haverford on February 23 for 17 points to go along with four assists.
