WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Swarthmore Rallies For Victory Swarthmore freshman Kathryn Stockbower posted her 20th double-double of the season and classmate Ceylan Bodur completed a 10-point comeback with a scoop lay-up with 35 second left to lead the Garnet to a 68-65 win in Centennial action on a snowy Wednesday night in Chestertown, Md.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: Kurman Nets 1,000th, Shoremen Win Duel Garnet senior guard Matt Kurman turned a wintry Wednesday night into the best night of his collegiate career, pouring in a career-high 32 points, including the 1,000th of his career, as Swarthmore fell 94-91 to Washington (Md.) in a high-scoring Centennial Conference men's basketball game Wednesday night.

McCormick Named Centennial Player of the Week Again Swarthmore senior Ian McCormick was named Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for men's basketball on Feb. 18, as announced by the Conference office.

The 8 Million Dollar Question

The Ad Hoc Financial Planning Group has been tasked with finding $8 million to cut from the annual budget. They have come up with a proposal for $6.85 million worth of cuts, and are currently seeking feedback from the community on their plan.
