GOLF: Fall Wraps up at Lehigh Country Club

ALLENTOWN, Pa.—The Swarthmore golf team wrapped up its fall schedule Monday afternoon, claiming eighth place at the two-day Muhlenberg Fall Invitational.

WOMEN'S SOCCER: Colombo, Garnet Hunt Down Bears

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.—Swarthmore forward Megan Colombo ‘11 netted the lone goal in the 43rd minute to lead the Garnet to a 1–0 win at Ursinus in Centennial Conference women’s soccer action on a chilly Wilkes Field Wednesday afternoon.

SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore junior midfielder Dylan Langley led his team with a goal and an assist in a 3–1 victory over Immaculata Wednesday night in non-conference men’s soccer action at Clothier Field. 25th-ranked Swarthmore won their sixth consecutive match, improving their overall record to 11–2-1.

Late Valentine's Day at the Symposium

Today, jackdaws and magpies, the sages have gathered, to talk about love. To talk about love cut through with time. Crippled with the burden of the clocks of our ancestors, we stagger around in the daytimes, and maybe post some chocolates to the dorm next door by the tilting-upward of the next due dawn. In short: we know that we need it. And we don't know how to get it. Or, more specifically—when we don't know just when the getting's good.
