MEN'S BASKETBALL: Kurman Sets Personal-Best, Garnet Fall in OT

SALEM, Va. - Swarthmore senior guard Matt Kurman scored a career-high 23 points and classmate Steve Wolf posted a double-double as the Garnet (2-7) fell to Ferrum 101-92 in overtime at the Domino's New Years Classic hosted by Roanoke College Friday afternoon.

MEN'S SOCCER: Christmas Earns Another Regional Honor SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Swarthmore men's soccer senior captain Patrick Christmas was selected to the D3kicks.com Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team, as announced on January 3. He is the first Garnet male to earn the distinction from the two-year-old site--Swarthmore female players Cait Mullarkey '09 (second team) and Katie Kanuka '10 (third team).
