New Works in Clay

Marvels of Things Created and Miraculous Aspects of Things Existing, a collection of sculptures by Brian Meunier, is the new exhibit in the List Gallery, showing until February 23rd. All are encouraged to go to the artist's lecture on Saturday, Jan. 26th from 5-6 pm. There will be a reception following the lecture.

October 30th, 1929- The Day a Cow Entered Parrish

In the wake of Halloween, I think it’s appropriate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of one of the more wonderful pranks ever pulled at Swarthmore: the Cow Episode. On December 4, 1929, the editor of the Phoenix received a letter from the owner of Crumwald, a nearby farm with some loose connections to the college.
