Going into Philly isn't always successful. I've had some nights where I've stayed out past the last SEPTA train, forgot to sign up for the Philly shuttle, and then had to take a bus with the hookers to 69th St. station.
The same goes for restaurants: you win some, you lose some — or more often then not, you can't find them! As an all points bulletin to our readers, if anyone can find Meskerem Ethiopian Restaurant I want to know. They have favorable online reviews, but each of the contradictory addresses I've tried so far has turned up nothing. Same goes for an Indonesian restaurant whose address turns up an empty shop. Well, with all the good dinners I've had, it's definitely worth trying again. And it's always better than Sharples!
The Daily Gazette has chosen our favorite restaurants to review. Next time you're heading into Philadelphia, check out past reviews rather than trusting to luck. Recommend any favorite restaurants and be sure to check out the Google map feature. Below are some quick links to past reviews.
