Scoreboard Field Hockey Swarthmore 3, Randolph-Macon 1 Volleyball host Garnet Classic Stevens Tech 3, Swarthmore 0 Cabrini 3, Swarthmore 2 Men's Tennis host Swarthmore Invitational
FIELD HOCKEY: Garnet Hold Yellow-Jackets in 3-1 Win SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Swarthmore (4-1), over-took Randolph-Macon (2-4) Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 score. Forward Natalie Stone '09 scored off a cross from fellow teammate Rachel Turner. Senior Abbie Fischer received a long cross from Devon Novotnak '11 to post the second goal for the Garnet. Securing a two-goal lead during the second half, freshman Sara McCabe netted one past the Yellow Jacket goalie.
VOLLEYBALL: Gold named to Garnet Classic All-Tournament Team
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Senior captain Katherine Gold was selected to the Garnet Classic all-tournament team as the Garnet (3-8) went 1-3 on the weekend. Junior outside hitter Jen Wang had 25 kills while sophomore setter Kearney Bangs added 65 assists in a tough 3-2 loss to Cabrini in a consolation match Sunday afternoon.
MEN'S TENNIS: Greenburg Makes Finals at Swat Invitational
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Garnet junior Mark Greenburg advanced to the Flight B singles' final before falling to Delaware's Sam Barrer 6-3, 6-0 Sunday afternoon.
