Men's tennis eliminated from NCAA's

The men's tennis team hosted the first three rounds of the Division III NCAA Tournament this past weekend and came up with two exactly opposite results, although each of their matches ended 5-0. The Garnet's first match in the second round against the College of New Jersey saw the host Garnet roll over TCNJ on Saturday. Although the doubles matches were relatively close, Swat rolled over the Lions to advance to Sunday's third-round game against defending national champion Emory University. The champs did to the Garnet what Swat had done to TCNJ, by taking all the singles and the doubles matches to get a 5-0 victory. Emory advances to the national quarterfinals in St. Louis, and Swarthmore finishes its 2007 season with a 7-10 record and a #17 ranking nationally.
