Medals for Garnet at Centennial track championships

Sophomore Cait Mullarkey secured two bronze medals in the women's 3000m steeplechase on Saturday and in the 800 meters on Sunday during this past weekend's Centennial Conference track and field Championships at Haverford. Her two medals are the most earned by an individual Swattie, but freshman Matt Turner picked up a silver in the men's long jump on Saturday and junior Ross Weller got a silver medal of his own in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, to win the quality-over-quantity prize. In addition to these individual performances, the men's 4x800 relay team set a school record on their way to a bronze medal in the event.
