Women's Basketball: Berk Scores 25 Points for Garnet Win TOWSON, Md. - The Swarthmore women's basketball team (3-4) made a last minute run to win 56-63 in a non-conference game against Goucher (4-4). Karen Berk '08 had a double-double scoring a game high 25 points and grabbing 14 blocks. Marking her seventh double-double, Kathryn Stockbower '11 had 14 total rebounds and scored 10 points.

Men's Basketball: Garnet Fall to Ursinus SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Ursinus senior guard Nick Shattuck scored 26 of his 32 points in the second half as the visiting Bears overcame a 14-point deficit and defeated the Garnet 68-59. Center Ian McCormick '08 swatted three shots, moving him past Rob Ruffin '92 and into the record books as the top shot-blocker in school history (149).

Swimming: Rowan Sweeps Garnet Swim Teams SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Rowan University swimming swept Swarthmore Saturday afternoon at Ware Pool. The women (4-2) suffered a close defeat by the score of 104-101, while the men (2-4) lost 125-80. Anne Miller '10 led the Garnet women by collecting victories in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly.
