SOCCER: ECAC Championships Roll Thru Swarthmore

CENTERVILLE, Mass. -- The Swarthmore men's and women's soccer teams will cap their successful 2007 seasons by participating in the 2007 Eastern Conference Athletics Conference (ECAC) Southern Region Soccer Championships. The Garnet soccer squads will host a first-round ECAC doubleheader this Wednesday, Nov. 7 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Swarthmore women (12-2-2) will play in the first match, welcoming Misericordia (13-8-1) to Clothier Field. The Garnet are seeded third in the Southern Region, making their second consecutive post-season appearance. The Garnet men (11-3-3 overall) are the top seed and will host No. 4 seed Cabrini (16-4) this Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. Swarthmore is making its fourth consecutive appearance in the ECAC Championship and earned its second straight top seed.
