WOMEN'S SOCCER: Five Swarthmore Women Named All-Centennial LANCASTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's soccer team (12-2-1, 7-2-1 CC) had five players selected to the 2007 All-Centennial list, following a vote by the conference head coaches. Garnet junior defender Cait Mullarkey, junior goalkeeper Lauren Walker and freshman forward Megan Colombo were named to the first team, sophomore midfielder Maggie DeLorme was a second-team selection and senior forward Danielle Tocchet was honorable mention.

VOLLEYBALL: Heaney, Berk Named All-Centennial LANCASTER, Pa.-- Swarthmore libero Erin Heaney '09 has been named to the 2007 All-Centennial Conference volleyball second team and middle blocker Karen Berk '08 was selected honorable mention, as voted by the conference coaches.

October 30th, 1929- The Day a Cow Entered Parrish

In the wake of Halloween, I think it’s appropriate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of one of the more wonderful pranks ever pulled at Swarthmore: the Cow Episode. On December 4, 1929, the editor of the Phoenix received a letter from the owner of Crumwald, a nearby farm with some loose connections to the college.
