WOMEN'S SOCCER: Garnet Clinch Playoff Berth, Tie Fords

HAVREFORD, Pa. -- The Swarthmore women's soccer team clinched its second consecutive Centennial playoff berth following a 1-1 double overtime tie at rival Haverford Tuesday afternoon. Freshman midfielder Hannah Purkey scored her second goal of the season of an assist from classmate Kirsten Peterson. Junior Lauren Walker made four saves in goal for the Garnet (11-2-1, 6-2-1 CC).
