Cross Country at Main Line Invitational

FIELD HOCKEY: Blue Jays Squirt Past Garnet in OT

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Elizabethtown sophomore Megan Angstadt scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the visiting Blue Jays defeated Swarthmore 3-2 in non-conference field hockey action Thursday night. The Garnet (4-2) got goals from Jordan Schmidt ’09 and Natalie Stone ’09, plus a career-high 12 saves from goalie Katie Ashmore ’11.

CROSS COUNTRY: Swarthmore Harriers Trample Main Line

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Garnet junior Emma Stanley finished sixth out of 65 runners while five Swarthmore men, led by Ross Weller ’08, finished in the top-50 at the Main Line Invite held at Haverford College Thursday afternoon.
