Where are the Parrish vending machines?
The Parrish vending machines, formerly in the new student lounge near the Post Office, have been moved downstairs to the Parrish basement. According to Associate Vice President of Facilities Stuart Hain, the move was part of a plan to improve the lounge area, which means more comfortable chairs. "We also decided that the addition of more large chairs would require that we create some additional floor space for the existing tables and chairs...we moved the machines back down to make room," Hain said in an email. He added that a move back upstairs is a possiblity if a majority of students are dissatisfied with the machines' current location.
