Sixteen Feet spring concert and a new CD

This Saturday night, at 7:00 pm in the Lang Concert Hall, Swarthmore's Sixteen Feet will be performing their spring concert. The group has just recently finished recording their new CD, "TOESTED" and they will be performing songs off of the album. The CD has songs by various artists, including Guster, The Killers, Blessed Union of Souls, and some 80s favorites.

"TOESTED" has been in the works since the spring of last year. The group went to New York to record the first three tracks in May, four more tracks in October, and the final five in December. Unfortunately, due to a very unexpected twist of events, the four tracks from October were lost and the group had to re-record them just recently. Wren Elhai '08 says that "It was a great experience; a little stressful towards the end, but great."

Sixteen Feet has a busy rest of the semester coming up. For spring break, they are all going to the Bahamas to sing. Also, they are planning on hosting Jamboree this semester. Their spring concert promises to be a very good, as does the CD. CDs will be sold at the concert for $10.
