How was the Parrish Lounge "Dedicated in May 2006"?

Has Swarthmore been graced by travelers from the future? Fortunately (or unfortunately) not, according to Dan West, Vice President of Alumni, Development, and Public Relations. "The plaque was finished and it seemed unnecessary to wait," he told the Gazette, "so we put it up in anticipation of the formal dedication on May 5."

The 8 Million Dollar Question

The Ad Hoc Financial Planning Group has been tasked with finding $8 million to cut from the annual budget. They have come up with a proposal for $6.85 million worth of cuts, and are currently seeking feedback from the community on their plan.
