Search for Bob Gross' replacement continues
With Bob Gross' final year as Dean of the College half over, the dean search committee is hard at work considering who might take his place. Through weekly meetings and consultations, the committee hopes to narrow down the applicants to eight in the next two weeks for interviewing in March. Provost Constance Hungerford projects campus visits for finalists at the end of March or the beginning of April.
At this juncture information regarding the applicants is still confidential, and will be until the public screenings of the finalists. However, as the Provost said in an email, "we [on the committee] are very encouraged and look forward to sharing our top choices with the larger community."
