Where's ice cream bar?

Bad news for those of you accustomed to stocking up on mini-M&Ms before your Thursday night seminars--those nights of sugar-highs are no longer. Ice cream bar has been permanently rescheduled to Fridays. According to Dining Services' Linda McDougall, the change is entirely for scheduling reasons. "It works better for us to serve it Friday night," she said.

October 30th, 1929- The Day a Cow Entered Parrish

In the wake of Halloween, I think it’s appropriate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of one of the more wonderful pranks ever pulled at Swarthmore: the Cow Episode. On December 4, 1929, the editor of the Phoenix received a letter from the owner of Crumwald, a nearby farm with some loose connections to the college.
