Bocce ball and croquet players rejoice! New sets now available for use

Student Council has purchased new bocce ball and croquet sets, now available in Cornell Science Library, in response to the old sets being deemed unusable.

A librarian and some students suggesting the purchase of higher quality sets brought this issue to the attention of Student Council, at which point the research began. “We consulted Andrew Fieldhouse and Martin Warner for advice on which croquet set to use,” says student events advisor Emily Nolte.

One student says, “That sounds pretty exciting! We used to play bocce in my art class and it was pretty entertainingÉ it’s pretty swanky.” Another student comments, “It’s great that theyÕre taking the time to get new equipment! Especially in a game like croquet where the mallets and the other equipment can get kinda beat up.” So if you like bocce and croquet, or even if you are just looking for a nice way to unwind, go on down to Cornell and enjoy these new sets.
